On the top of the Mountain

The trip to Luray was my vacation as well as the chance to compete in the Luray Triathlon again.  I decided to stay at a bed and breakfast again but this year I stayed at Once Upon a Mountain. The first trip up the gravel road was a little nerve wracking but by the time I left Luray, I thought nothing of it.  Christa Le Clere, the innkeeper, is a wonderful hostess and it was a delight to spend time with her.

my deck bedsitting areaI had a lovely room with a deck and a view of the mountains.  The food was wonderful, the conversation thought provoking, and the scenery peaceful.

I also have another new friend, Willie, Christa’s dog.
